Stroll through the Sheung Wan district’s PoHo and SoHo neighborhoods in search of the perfect dessert on this 2.5-hour walking tour of Hong Kong. With a foodie guide who has insider knowledge on the city’s best sweets, you’ll sample 10 treats at half a dozen local venues including restaurants, dessert shops and boutique cafes. This small-group tour limited to 12 provides a personalized experience with fellow dessert lovers.

Meet your guide at Sheung Wan MTR Station and embark on your afternoon walking tour through the neighborhoods of PoHo (Po Hing Fong) and SoHo (South of Hollywood Road). At about six handpicked eateries, you’ll taste approximately 10 desserts invented in or adapted from the Greater China Region.
Dig deeper into Hong Kong’s culinary history as you step inside each dessert shop or boutique cafe, and learn about the mix of ingredients, cooking methods and cultural styles that influence the many types of Chinese desserts.
Visit Honeymoon Dessert for a taste of mango pomelo, sago sweet soup and rice balls with sugar-coconut sesame. At Dim Sum Square, try a creamy custard bun and osmanthus jelly. Sink your teeth into ginko with mashed taro and sweet bean at Shung Hing Chiu Chow Restaurant, and visit Teakha for a bite of green tea cheesecake. Wash it all down with a drink from Kung Lee Sugarcane Juice, and save room for a sugar puff and egg tart at Tai Cheong Bakery. (Venues are subject to change.)
During the tour, you’ll also stop at Upper Lascar Row — aka Cat Street — to browse the antiques and visit Man Mo Temple.
