Start your small-group walking tour at Possession Point, the area where the British took hold of Hong Kong in 1841. Then visit St. Johns Cathedral, the oldest Anglican church in Asia.
Walk to Hong Kong Park to stop by the Flagstaff House to admire the British architecture and view the impressive display of antique tea ware inside. Next door, see the new Government’s Headquarter’s Complex where the ministers, legislators and civil servants overlook the city’s famed Victoria Harbour.
Head to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on the Wan Chai waterfront, famous for being the location where the 1997 Hong Kong handover ceremony took place. See the Forever Blooming Bauhinia Sculpture, a gift from the Peoples Republic of China to celebrate the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
